Band Bio
“The Crocodiles” story unfolds like a twenty-year old legacy in the making. While performing in many different venues from Hollywood to New York, these six extraordinarily talented and accredited musicians were drawn together at the right time in the right place. |
During the 1980’s and the 1990’s in San Francisco’s Bay Area, Billy Moore (lead vocals, acoustic guitar, percussion) and Jeff Rymer (lead guitar, lead vocals and harmonica) along with Kevin Surratt (lead guitar) fronted a number of high-energy vocally driven Rock n’ Roll bands. Their talents garnered them a loyal following wherever they were found performing.
After years of searching for the perfect rhythm section to compliment their act, they were introduced to Joe Tyler (drums, lead vocals, percussion, guitar) and Screamin’ Joe LoFreso (keyboards, lead vocals). The musical background of these two artists reads like a who’s, who biography in the world of music. With stadium concert performances and recordings with major record labels under their belts, they brought their music industry experience to help bring a new dimension to the band. Bill Peay (bass guitar, lead vocals), a long time friend and past companion of Screamin’ Joe, was brought in to complement their rock solid sound by providing a rich bottom end with a consistent groove.
